Yesterday, East Middle School – SCCSD students visited the Sioux City Career Academy to explore various pathways. Our East High students helped give tours and show off the many options the Sioux City Community School District has to offer our students. Why do we do this for the athletes but not the music students that put in the hours and as much if not more time then the athletes. I'm proud of all of them but there is more to this then just sports. Honor all the kids that sign you have music students that have won 100k scholarships and don't get any recognition.
