Black Raider Nation reach out to your alumni friends and family. This year our hallway decorations will be time capsules. It is our 100th year after all. We are looking for stories, pictures and maybe clothing that was popular during these years. 1925-1950, 1950-1975, 1975-2000, and 2000-2025. You can reach out with ideas (people, events, clothing etc.) that we should include. You can send ideas to this post or email ferrys@live.siouxcityschools.com .

It’s 28 to 28. Regular time ended with a missed field goal. So proud of our student body offering support to our kicker. Now that’s Raider spirit. And in our first overtime that same kicker just got it through the posts. 35 to 35. And another extra point in our second overtime. Holding at 35 to 42…and that resilience just paid off: East 42, Heelan 41. #RaidersRise See MoreSee Less

East High has a history of some good kickers. Well done lad!

Nice “W,” Raiders! 🖤🏈🧡

He didn’t kick a field goal in OT, but did make both extra points.

🏈 Sounds like a great game! 👊💕

Was a great game for both sides! Is your player ok? As a mom i was terrified for that young man and hope everything is ok

Had to be the most exciting game of this season! So glad I was there to watch it. Fantastic win East Raiders!! 🏈

As East High School celebrates 100 years, we also celebrate another kind of longevity—17 years. This team has worked together since Mr. Todd became head principal in the fall of 2008, and in many cases, even before that. That’s 17 years working together to teach Siouxland’s children, serve the staff and faculty of East High, and support each other through it all. Thank you, Raiders!
