EHS Black Raider Wrestling had a great Saturday at the Western Iowa Tournament. The Lady Raiders placed as follows:
100 – Hazal Alavez, 5th
110 – Karlee White, 4th
120 – Gabby Robertson, 5th
125 – Jada Haywood, 3rd (medaled)
135 – Jozlyn Curiel, 6th
140 – Kiara Niemeier, 4th
190 – Ziva Shultz, 1st (medaled)

Black Raider Basketball showed off its talent on Friday night. During the Tip-Off exhibition, the black and orange teams faced each other on the court. Coach Drent made his coaching debut as well. We look forward to the upcoming season and watching our boys in action.
The East Middle School – SCCSD boys played some great ball during East’s Tip-Off Friday night. We look forward to watching these athletes continue to excel in their high school years as well.
Congratulations to director Leisha Anderson, her actors, and her play production students for putting on a great production Nov. 14, 15, 21, & 22. "Tara Shaped by the Figures" by Emily Hageman delved into how grief and our inner dialogue shape the choices we make. The play was thoughtful and poignant. Thank you for making art come to life on the stage!
